When you choose to “go on your own” you need to decide which legal structure is right for your business before you register for tax and start trading. It’s important to understand the different risks and benefits – whether you set up as a sole trader, limited company or partnership. Here at MNK Accountants we will help you to find the best solution. Most of our clients for example, choose to open Limited Companies. Below are the process and services we provide when setting up an LTD:


Company Incorporation

All limited companies must be registered (‘incorporated’) with Companies House. To do this we will ask you for the information such as:

  • Three names for the proposed company (in order of preference)
  • Your residential address in UK
  • Copy of you passport
  • Your Father’s first name
  • A contact telephone number
  • National Insurance number

After we have all the required information we will send a request to incorporate your company and in few days time you will receive a confirmation letter with Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association sent by email in pdf format (original hard copy of the certificate is held in our offices and is available upon request).


Registered Address

By law all companies must have a registered office address which must be a physical location in their country of registration. It must be an address at which you will be able to deal with all official letters and notices you receive. We will provide you with such address at our offices in Camden. If appointed – we will proceed your mail.



We will correspond with HMRC and Companies House regarding any outstanding matters for your company.


Business Banking

We will consult and provide guidance on opening your Companies Business Bank account (please check “Limited Company guide” for information on what documents you will need)
